Why do we call it Sykesville Design?

Well, we live in Sykesville, we like it there, and we want to help make it a better place. And we design things for the Internet.

Andrea White – President and Founder

Over the past decade, Andrea's designed and built close to a hundred websites both as a freelancer and as lead designer for a successful Internet company. She’s a graphic artist, an Internet software expert, and one of the world's best spellers.

Jack White – VP of Marketing and Communications

Jack's a seasoned Internet professional and award winning, published author. For the past 20 years he's worked in marketing and technical communications for various high-tech companies.

He and Andrea make a great team and have worked together on several interesting personal and professional projects over the years, from designing a website for Smithsonian Business Ventures to self-publishing a novel that won a national award. Currently they're building the SykesvilleOnline community information site to entertain and enlighten the people of Sykesville and Eldersburg, Maryland.

Jack, Andrea and their two daughters have lived in Sykesville since 1999.
